MLSgaskets have increasedstrength because they arecomprised of multiple layersof stainless steel; whichalso creates the ability torebound and resist corrosion.The outer layers are embossedand coated on both sides withViton (a flouroelastomerrubber based material that isheat resistant to 250 C/482 F).
