Cast fromhigh-strength aluminum andheat treated for additionaltoughness, the bellhousingpasses the stringent SFI 30.1certification* and is approvedwith no external shieldsrequired. The bell features anopen bottom for easy converteraccess, a reduced diameter forbetter floorboard clearance,and a contoured mountingflange to properly match therear of the engine block.Designed for use with a 164tooth flexplate, stock stylestarters are used in thefactory location.
