Cast fromhigh-strength aluminum andheat treated for additionaltoughness, the bellhousingpasses the stringent SFI 30.1certification* and is approvedwith no external shieldsrequired. The bell weighs only13.0 pounds, features an openbottom for easy converteraccess, a reduced diameter forbetter floorboard clearance,and a contoured mountingflange to properly match therear of the engine block.These bellhousings allow fordirect fit to the engines withno spacers or adapters needed.Designed for use with a 130tooth flexplate, stock stylestarters are used in thefactory location. It willalso accept the larger 168tooth Chevy-style flexplate.Length is the same as theChevy bellhousing.
