Gates is continually developing new technology to keep pace with the demands of the marketplace and these belts are the latest upgrade to the 11mm belts. Improvements to the tension cord and bonding materials have resulted in a more reliable 11mm belt construction. Testing has proven these belts as capable as the other 11mm belt on the market without having to overtighten or grease the edges. These belts should not be back bent around an idler pulley or during storage.
