K&N Air Filter
This cold air intake system is engineered specifically for some Ford F150 V8 5.0L models, and includes a larger than stock fresh air scoop behind the front grill to increase airflow to the high-performance enclosed air box filter assembly. A high-density polyethylene (HDPE) rotationally-molded tube helps increase the volume of airflow to your engine, and provides a guaranteed increase in horsepower and torque. The included washable, reusable High-Flow Air Filter features oiled cotton filter media, and the oversized, conical design allows you to go up to 100,000 miles between filter services under normal highway driving conditions. An enclosed air box design helps protect the filter and inlet air from the heat of the engine bay, and allows for quick access to the filter. The entire system can typically be installed in less than 90 minutes. Some intakes are not legal for sale or use on any pollution controlled motor vehicle in California. K&N Air Filter Wrap
The K&N Drycharger is a silicone treated, polyester wrap that is made to cover K&N Air Filters or Personal Watercraft Flame Arrestors. These Drychargers, which are similar to the K&N Prechargers, contain uniform micron sized openings that allow high air flow. Yet, due to the Drychargers silicone treated polyester wrap, the amount of water that reaches the air filter or flame arrestor is limited.
