The Hooker Maximum Flowmuffler actually flows 99% andproduces more horsepower andtorque than a 2-1/2" openpipe. The Maximum Flow isconstructed of an aluminizedsteel case with stainlesssteel internal core and uses ahigh temperature packingmaterial to absorb excessivenoise while allowing a mellowpowerful sound. As with allabsorption type silencers, theMaximum Flow will be mosteffective for sound controlwith lower compression (8.5 to1 and lower) motors withconservative Camshafts andwith applications usingcatalytic converter(s).
