Heat Protection Products Stealth Sound DeadenerHeat Protection Products Stealth Sound Deadener reduces vibration, road noise, and improves acoustic performance inside the cabin. The adhesive Butyl sheets mould easily into place on most hard surfaces. Once the Stealth Sound Deadener is in place, we recommend using Heat Protection Products Foil Tape for the edges and Stealth Mat as the underlay which, will reduce heat and noise further, then it's time for the carpet/vinyl.Features: Heavy duty adhesive Butyl sheets Sheet dimensions: 300mm x 500mm x 2mm +-0.3mm thick Contains 10 sheetsInstallation Guide1. Plan Your LayoutLay out sheets first to visualise coverage. Aim to cover 70-80% of flat, single-skin metal panels. Create templates for areas as needed. Avoid mounts or structural elements.2. Clean the SurfaceUse a white-based spirit and a clean cloth (avoid turpentine). Let the surfaces dry completely before applying the sheets. 3. Cut to FitTrim sheets to size, leaving access to important areas. Sheets can be placed edge-to-edge or with slight overlap. 4. Apply and RollPeel back one end and stick it down gradually, pressing as you go. Feed material into contours-don't stretch over dips.Use a roller to press firmly across the surface, especially in valleys.5. Final CheckRe-roll any bubbles or edges.Use extra sheets in high-vibration areas if you have leftovers.TipsDon't apply over complex structures like top hats, cross-members, or mounting points. For best results, work in a warm environment so the sheets bond properly.
