Peter Vicary and his two sons Ben and Andrew founded Gulf Western Oil in 1988 for the sole purpose to design an oil specific to the Australian market.

From a small company blending lubricants for thelocal market, Gulf Western has grown into a multi million litre organisation with an extensive distributor network throughout all states and territories of Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, New Caledonia, Tahiti, Vietnam, Tonga, Samoa,Kiribati,Christmas islands, PNG and the Pacific Rim.
The company remains fully Australian owned and operated by the Vicary family.
