Earl's Performance exhaust back pressure plumbing kits include the components needed to install an exhaust back pressure sensor (not included). This type of sensor is often used with data acquisition or EFI systems to monitor the exhaust back pressure just prior to the turbo. Exhaust heat and engine vibration are tough on the sensor, so it is mounted remotely and isolated by the stainless hardline and flexible Speed-Flex hose assembly.
Features of Earl's plumbing kits:
* Pre-made -4 AN 18 in. stainless steel hardline with tube nuts and sleeves * Pre-made -4 AN 24 in. Speed-Flex hose * Exhaust weld bung with -4 AN male flare * Adapter 1/8 in. NPT female to -4 AN male flare (for sensor) * Adapter -4 AN male union (connects hardline to flexible hose) * Sensor cushion clamp and mounting hardware * Accurate pressure readings and sensor longevity
