Derale Pwm Fan Controller Push In Probe 16795
(Prior to Dispatch)
Derale Performance ischanging the rules of enginetemperature control with SmartTechnology brought to yourcar's cooling system throughDerale's Patented PWM FanController.
Historically, cooling fans run at 100%,even when less airflow isneeded, constantly turning onand off as the enginetemperature changes. ThisREACTION based temperaturecontrol system causes constantamperage spikes, excessivenoise and premature wear. TheDerale PWM fan controllercontinuously monitors yourengine's temperature, therefore CONTROLLING thetemperature and increasing thevehicles cooling efficiency, while reducing the amps usedto do so.
Here's how itworks; The controller monitorsyour engine temperature viathe cool side of the radiator, therefore providing a moreaccurate reading for yourcooling system. Using SoftStart Technology, fans ramp upslowly which eliminatesharmful AMP spikes. The unitwill continuously monitor yourengine's temperature andoperate the fans at theoptimum fan rate as neededbetween 1 to 100%. The netresult; the electric fansoften only run between 40-60%to keep your engine cool.Additional benefits include, reduced fan speeds which meansreduced fan noise, which tendsto compete with that sweetsound of yourengine!
This multi-fancontroller has a built-in A/COver-ride circuit and isdesigned to control as many 12volt brushed electric fans asdesired, up to 65 Ampscombined. Even better, installation and calibrationis a snap. It simply wiresin-between your vehiclesbattery and electric fans;adding in a simple multi-meterand a twist of the tempadjuster, allows you toprogram the temperature tomaximize your cars coolingsystem.
