Davies Craig Ewp130 Alloy Water Pump & Lcd Controller Combo. 12V 130L/Mi
Davies Craigsremote-mounted,universal-install and compactEWP130 is an advanced, lightweight and powerfulElectric Water Pump, offeringsuperior coolant circulationqualities to the mechanicalwater pump. It is suitable formost engines largesix-cylinder and V8s, 4WDs andmost engines up to 400HP. Itoffers the same fittingoptions as the EWP80, andcan be installed as anauxiliary or booster pump. TheLCD EWP & Fan DigitalController is scientificallycalibrated to manage the flowrate of engine coolant to lockonto a targeted enginetemperature
The uniqueLCD EWP/Fan Digital Controllerwill manage the operation ofyour chosen EWP by varying thespeed of your pump in responseto coolant temperature andmanage control of yourelectric Thermatic Fan, Noneed for a separate thermalswitch. The Controller variesthe speed of your EWP lookingfor, and locking onto yourtarget temp. If the enginetemp goes 3 degrees C over thetarget, the Controller willrun your radiator fan untilthe target temp is restored. And it now does 12 & 24Volt
This LCD EWP/FanDigital Controller (Part#8000) is Australian designedand as part of this Australianmanufacturing companyscontinuous improvement programthis advanced DigitalController boasts a suite ofenhancements.
Theseinclude:
- The prominent blue LiquidCrystal Display screen(pictured)
- Nowsuitable for all 12v & 24velectrical systems, withrelevantdisplays
- GenuineThermometer, with coolant andtargeted/set temp.displays
- Diagnosticcheck & warm-upsignals
- Nine (9)targeted/set coolanttemperatures, 60C (140F) to100C (212F)
- FlashingEWP logo signifyingwater pump inoperation
- Davies CraigThermatic Fan logo, circulating signifying fan inoperation
- FlashingHigh & Low Voltageindicators
- Low & HighTempindicators
- Audiblealarm -
-if coolanttemp doesnt exceed 40C(104F) within 5 mins ofstart-up
-when coolanttemperature exceeds 10C(50F) of set/target
-when coolant temperatureexceeds 100C(212F) - Above Set/TargetTemperature indicatoraccompanies audiblealarm
- TemperatureSensor short & open circuitindicators
- Automatictime-out, EWP runs for 3minutes or until engine temphas reduced to -10C (-14F)below set/targeted tempwhichever occursfirst.
The updatedDavies, Craig LCD EWP/FanDigital Controller (#8000) asan engine management componenthas undergone extensiveresearch, development, vehicleand test centrescrutiny.
The updatedLCD Digital Controller how hastwo specific functions. Thisunique Controller will nowmanage the operation of theEWP by varying the speed ofthe EWP in response to thetemperature of the engine andmanage control of yourelectric engine fan. TheController has a push-buttonon the facia panel that offerstarget temperatures, 60C(140F) 65C (150F) 70C(160F) 75C (165F) 80C(175F) 85C (185F) 90C(195F) 95C (205F).Generally, higher enginetemperature will offerimproved fuel efficiency andlower engine temperature morepower. The LCD DigitalController will now operatethe engines electric fanautomatically once the enginehas reached +3c above thetarget temperature. Asignificant benefit too is theController allows the EWP torun on after ignition shutdownto reduce heat soak. It isrecommended that engineoperational temperatures bechecked withmanufacturer.
The LCDDigital Controller can be usedwith our EBP however it is notrecommended as it will notvary the speed of the pump inresponse to temperature butrather simply turn the pump onand off once the top endtemperature is reached. For afar more economical &appropriate solution, we wouldrecommend Part Number 0401 &0444 to turn the EBP on andoff at your settemp.
Note: This controller(Part No. 8000) is set up fornegativley earthed systemshowever with a wiringadjustment, can also handlepositive earthed systems.
