COMP Cams has put togetherthese time saving kitscontaining all of thenecessary pieces to help yousmoothly install oe-stylehydraulic roller lifters/camin your '87+ Chevy Small BlockV8 originally equipped withhydraulic roller lifter/camprovisions. Each kit containsall required hardware and allcomponents are new.
In1987 GM equipped the ChevySmall Block V8 with rollerlifters / provisions forroller lifters. Most '87+ carscame with roller lifters, butmost trucks came with flattappet cams in roller lifterstyle blocks. Kits are offeredfor '87-'90 blocks or '91-'02blocks. Some of the early yearblocks do not have the liftervalley spider tray bolt holestapped.
If unsure whatyear your block is, measurethe cam retainer plate boltpattern center-to-centerdistance. This kit is for1987-1990 engines w/ boltpattern center-to-centerdistance of3.650".
