SeeThrough Oil Filters can beused for many applicationsincluding Racing, Marine,Automotive, Farm, and forIndustrial Hydraulic Systems.These Patented Oil FilterAssemblies allow the user tovisually see oil pumpingthrough the filter, whichhelps to determine thecondition of the oil. When oilis not being pumped throughthe filter it can quicklydrained using an air chuck forfilling tires and compressedair. A hand bicycle pump willalso work. Apply a small shotof air to the air fitting onthe side of the inlet opening.Oil will empty out of theassembly in seconds exposingthe filter element andfiltered particles, even whenfiltering non transparentfluids like dirty oil. The SeeThrough top allows the user tovisually inspect particles andcontaminants that werefiltered out of the system todetermine if they are fromnormal use or from bearingsand other componentsexcessively wearing in theengine or machinery supplyingthe FilterAssembly.
- Whenusing 50 weight or lighter oila 60 micron element isrecommended. When using 60weight or heavier oil A 115micron element isrecommended.
- Filtershave 2 Inlet and 2 OutletOpenings that are threaded for#12 O-Ring Boss - 1-1/16-12TPI fittings. The Inlet andOutlet Ports are machined to7/8" diameter and will flow a#16 line when using #12 O-RingBoss to #16 JIC bored outfittings. All 4 ports can beused, but #16 fittings can notgo in and out of the same sideof the filterassembly.
