AFR lightweight Phenoliccarburetor spacers for 4150style carburetors areavailable in an 1" thick openor tapered four hole version.Both versions will act as aheat barrier between themanifold and carburetor tokeep the fuel in the floatbowls cooler, as well as theactual carburetors bodyitself. This results in acooler, denser air/fuelinduction charge for increasedHP. Our tapered four holespacer will typically increaseHP and show notableimprovements in torque aswell. Our open spacer workswell in applications requiringmore plenum volume and RPM.Some applications will benefitfrom both installed (taperedand open) assuming you havethe hood height to accommodatethem. Both have a clover leafdesign making them moreefficient by reducing some ofthe turbulent air directlyunder the carburetor base.They fit the AFR line ofcomposite intake manifoldsperfectly but can be used onmost aftermarket manifolds aswell.
